Privacy notice

Employment questions deserve restraint. This notice explains what we collect, why, and when consultation records are removed.

Controller and contact

Byte Framehub is the controller for personal data described here. Contact: info@byte-framehub.digital; Level 12, 27 Alexanderplatz, Berlin 10178.

Data we process and purposes

We process contact details, enquiry text, appointment preferences, invoices and the limited documents voluntarily supplied for a consultation. Purposes are answering enquiries, preparing and delivering contracted work, keeping tax records, protecting legal claims and recording cookie choice. Please redact special-category and irrelevant personal data.

The legal bases may include steps requested before a contract and performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR), legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)), legitimate interests in secure administration and claims (Art. 6(1)(f)), and consent where specifically requested (Art. 6(1)(a)). You may withdraw consent prospectively.

Recipients and international transfers

Data may be handled by necessary hosting, email, video-call, bookkeeping and professional advisers under appropriate duties. We do not sell personal data. Where a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, we use an applicable adequacy decision or safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses and assess supplementary measures where required.

Retention

Unbooked enquiries are normally deleted after six months. Working copies of consultation documents are normally deleted 30 days after the final session; the action note and essential engagement correspondence are retained for three years for continuity and claims. Invoices and records subject to German tax or commercial retention duties may be kept for the statutory period. A dispute, legal hold or your request can change a period where lawful.

Your rights

Subject to GDPR conditions, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection. You may withdraw consent without affecting earlier processing. You may complain to a competent data protection supervisory authority; in Berlin, this is the Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit.

Security and required information

We apply access controls, minimisation and deletion routines appropriate to the information. Internet transmission cannot be guaranteed completely secure. Contact and core enquiry details are needed to answer you; declining optional details does not prevent a general response.
